Jan 11, 2011 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian mobile telephone company Vodafone says it is working with customers to resolve complaints. Some 15,000 subscribers have signed up to join a class action against Vodafone for its repeated network failures. The company is also seeking to address security concerns after allegations that customer details were leaked on the internet. Vodafone is not the only telco to endure criticism. The Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman took 167,955 complaints in calendar 2010.
