AN internet crook who used popular site Gumtree to lure bargain-hunters to gunpoint robberies has been jailed for four-and-a-half years.
Sharif Abduswamad, 20, put fake car ads on the web, then he and his armed gang of nine thugs would threaten buyers when they arrived with the cash.
He was caught after fleeing in his own car. He admitted four robberies at court in his home town of Croydon.
